Personality: Nakulo is very confident in his abilities and has exceptional mastery of his army. He is extremely quick to notice errors in army structure and fix them. If he was only a warrior he'd overstep his bounds.
Bio: His parents named Nektann after the real Nektann, which ended up being a common name in the warlord Nektann's empire to glorify their great leader. Nektann rose to the rank of a divisional commander in the warlord Nektann's army, and has been an honorable but troublesome leader. He changed his name to Nakulo to avoid mass confusion.

Bio: Nova was once a well-known Toa of Fire in Metru Nui. Hearing of a grand tournament, he made his way down south to wherever the tournament was to be held (now he forgets where), and entered. What seemed like a minute later, he awoke in the first tunnel.

Appearance: Tall, with well defined muscles and striking violet eyes. Is clad in a navy, long-sleeved cloak and hood. On his hands, he wears iron-plated gloves, on his forearms, metallic bracers. Underneath his jacket-cloak-hood-thing, he wears a simple sleeveless vest, weaved with a Kevlar-like material, about as protective as the chainmail equivalent. Other than that, he wears long pants of the same material as his vest, and simple leather boots.
Weapon(s): None, So I'll put his experience with (no prizes for guessing this,) martial arts here. He is a competent, tenacious, and talented fighter, a practitioner of styles similiar to Piguaquan, and Bājíquán.
Power: Lightning, wears a Kulasi which he really only uses should he really need to pound something into the ground via every opening he can find and/or create. Or would, were it not drained of it's power by the arena.
Transformation: Utahraptor. Just like Raz in the original fic, a fast, agile, and powerful predator, with loads of wickedly sharp claws and teeth.
Bio: A wandering martial artist of considerable skill. He keeps mostly to himself, and has a rough disposition, to put it kindly. After his foster father, a wealthy businessman, died, he and his sister were soon living on the streets, barely surviving each and every day. After an event where he and his sister got separated, he was on his own, her last words to him a plea to never give up. Soon after being cornered by a group of thugs, he found a martial arts master. Namely, the man who saved his life from them.

He spent the rest of his life, from mid-childhood up until late adolescence (like 7-16 or something in human terms), in greuling, back-breaking training, which some would look at and say was "Training from Karz.". He was pushed to his absolute limits, and then some, every day. Sometimes, the only thing that kept him going was his vow to his missing little sister.

In recent months, his master has left him to his own devices, likely pursuing some other goal elsewhere. He left behind a strong, fast, and downright determined young man, who keeps up his intensive training whenever possible. He entered this tournament to test his skills, to really see just how far he had come.

God, I feel sorry for those monsters.

I thought I made it clear somewhere in the RPG that there were no masks here, I'm sure there was at least one sentence that said that.

Also, he was given weapons, but its fine if he left them sitting where they were.

So just change the mask bit, and you're approved.

Name: Grotir
Species: Vortixx
Gender: Female
Appearance: A large and noticeably female Vortixx with large enough muscles to be called an 'Amazon', but still moderately attractive by most standards. Grotir wears a belt on her waist with different pouches for ammunition, as well as a holstered pistol on her right hip. On her back she has strapped, by means of a belt that runs across her left shoulder and down to her right hip, both a combat shotgun and a macuahuitl, both their butts sticking up over her left shoulder.
Weapon(s): (1) Combat Shotgun-Grotir's long-range means of attack is a pump-action combat shotgun with six shells, chosen for its reliability and capability to spread out medium- sized shells. While she most often uses it at a longer range than her other weapons, Grotir has no qualms about blasting targets with it within close proximity of their bodies.
(1) Macuahuitl-For closer ranges, Grotir usually fights with her macuahuitl to tear into foes and to block what little she must. Its obsidian has been replaced with blood-red ruby.
(1) Revolver Pistol-The Vortixx carries a .500 revolver with room for ten cordak bullets. It plays a backup role in conjunction with her other weapons, and is most commonly used when she's run out of shotgun shells within the gun and has no time to reload or draw her macuahuitl.
As well, Grotir has trained in a martial art similar to Tiger Kung Fu with elbowing, the axe kick, and usage of claws which keeps her very physically fit. However, she rarely uses it due to preference of her weapons.
Power: None
Transformation: An Artakha Bull
Bio: Grotir has long been a sociopathic and somewhat sadistic warrior, feeling that other people aren't worth as much as herself, but has never been intentionally condescending about it. She's apathetic towards much of life, figuring that she only has a limited time to live, so why not use it fighting? Her mindset isn't so much ruthless as it is not even bothering to consider another option, and she doesn't really think much of other people in general-literally. When she first heard of The Tunnel, she signed up readily.


Name: Mangai Tahu Lys'Muaka
Species: Fe-Toa
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mangai looks to be a lithe gunmetal toa with burnt orange highlights wearing a Great Matatu with a scope and a gray top hat. He has restless light blue eyes and also wears a great gray waistcoat, along with some boots, pants, and gloves of the same color. The haft of a makrigga pokes over his right shoulder, and the hilt of a zweihander, his left. Within Mangai's coat (and his hat) are his weapons hidden.
Weapon(s): Mangai can use almost any weapon; however, for his stay in The Tunnel, he only chose several:
(1) Makrigga-One of Mangai's favorite weapons, which he typically uses to stave off or spear enemies. It can also be thrown.
(1) Zweihander-Mainly used by him at a shorter range than the makrigga, to block or hack and stab. However, he rarely uses it for a great length, due to the sheer strength it requires without using his powers.
(1) Urumi-Another of Mangai's favorite weapons. Used often to take on multiple enemies at once at slightly closer ranges than the zweihander, and often is used in conjunction with another weapon.
(2) Hunga munga-Due to the fact that attacks in The Tunnel are usually ambushes, the Fe-Toa uses these at closer ranges than the urumi. However, he will throw them if he needs to quite well.
(5) Ballistic knives-While Mangai does know how to throw knives, he prefers the surprise factor of the ballistic knife, as well as the fact that he can wield them twixt his teeth more effectively and in close combat in general.
Power: Mangai can control Iron at a toa level, manipulating/controlling/absorbing it, etc. However, he is surprisingly both imaginative and efficient with this power, having honed it to such a degree that he can use precisely enough power for any usage of his element, and creative enough to come up with literally ANY usage in the first place.
One of his favorite, and signature, tactics, is subtly controlling the armor and metallic parts of his allies while watching their backs. This allows him to enhance their force to near-irresistible levels as well as allowing Mangai to maneuver them out of harm's way in time if they cannot dodge an attack, or simply to keep their balance. The only other technique unique to Mangai is compressing the metal within his and others' armor and turning it into hyper-sharp weapons in mere seconds which are able to shear clean through rock. He often uses this second favorite to surprise would-be ambushers by suddenly extending blades from his back.
Transformation: Mangai transforms into a Giant (as in, double the normal size), amphibious Northern Pacific Giant Octopus that is lightly armored. He actually doesn't mind the sheer strangeness of this, though, as its many arms and surprising strength give him the ability to take on just as many opponents at once as he can normally; that is to say, a fairly large number alone. Plus, his flexibility in the other form, as well as ability to spew ink and many tentacles are useful tools alongside his snapping beak.
Personality: Mangai almost completely contrasts with Grotir. Where Grotir is wholly insensitive socially, Mangai always thinks carefully when talking to others before stating his opinion and do so in such a way that it is impossible, in his opinion, to misconstrue the statement. Where Grotir is lax, Mangai is incredibly restless and never feels quite comfortable with taking anything easy, leading to him often taking things literally and refusing to believe that others are sincere when they give him compliments or tell him they want to be in a positive relationship with him.
This leads to Mangai harboring a secret paranoia and to always stay on the edge, planning, honing, ready to fight. However, there is one thing that does keep Mangai leading a tolerable relationship with Grotir: Their love of combat. Although the Fe-Toa makes it his principle to shun combat and never signed up for the tournament-even in a spar-with the trauma of the tunnel which he has found himself in, he has adapted to love it. Now Mangai is an adrenaline junkie, living for the rush of combat (even though he won't admit it outright), giving them something in common.


EDIT: Alright Skarloth, I'm pretty sure you did approve these, so I'll repost in the Profile Topic. However, as Raz will be making the final PC of their team, could we just say the others died in previous fighting and the current three are all that's left of an original six?
Of course, do realize that such a thing would imply these guys have been through at least a good few waves. And I have no idea if you have anything major against 'skipping' to end up with an all-PC group.


EDIT 2: Alright, changes made to the profile-the Tahtorak as a transformation has been replaced by the Artakha Bull. I suppose Team 2 will have at least two slots open for PCs after Raz is done, then.

Name: Ataz.
Species: Custom, about the size of a toa, with skin the texture of hardened leather.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Tale, lean, and slim. He wears a long coat of chainmail, made of solid protosteel, and of such a fine mesh that it could stop literally any kind of arrow. It reaches in a skirt to below his knees, the skirt is split down the center of the front and back to allow extra movability. It has a hood, and the arms reache down to Ataz's wrists. Over this, he wears a dark green surcoat with a rampant lion in golden thread in it's center. He wears a pair of pauldrons that protect his upper arm, and a pair of vambraces that cover the back of his elbows, and wears a pair of ornate pair of gauntlets. His helmet is like that of a soldier of Gondor (From the return of the king). He wears an arming sword at his right side, and has a bastard sword slung onto his back. Also on his back is his shield, a broad kite shield. A pack of throwing darts are slung at his left shoulder.
Weapons and Equipment: Ataz wears a mixture of plate armor and chain mail, as listed in his appearance. He wields a bastard sword (or a hand and a half sword if you prefer) on his back, and has a long arming sword. Both are lightweight, but expertly made, and almost impossible to smash. His shield is made of a strange lightweight and durable metal, with the front of it made of protosteel. The shield carries the same coat of arms as his surcoat. Lastly, he uses a quiver of throwing darts.
Abilities: Ataz possesses a wiry strength, as well as an excellent stamina and agility and speed.
Power: Power over sound, including the ability to move at the speed of sound for quick bursts.
Transformation: Ataz transforms into a black panther, covered practically from nose to tail with layered plate armor, which allows for great maneuverability and great protection. His claws are made of protosteel, and he usually uses his powers in the form of a sonic roar.
Bio: Ataz was a famous mercenary and warrior. Like many other people he was attracted to the tournament. He joined up with another mercenary, Moka.

Name: Moka
Gender: Male.
Species: Vortixx
Kanohi: None.
Appearance: Moka is, to put it simply, bizarre. Hardly anyone would ever think of him as a vortixx. Standing a few heads taller then a toa, Moka is far less mechanical then any other member of his species - an estimated 40-50% mechanical. His face is almost humanoid, with bright yellow eyes shining out from his deep green skin. He wears a long coat that reaches almost to his ankles. His mechanical parts are all armored, and he wears a pauldron over his coat, covering his neck and shoulders, as well as the top of his body. He wears a leather belt slung over his right shoulder, and crossing his chest to end at the left side of his waist. He has several canisters of bolts clipped on. Two sheaths house twin short katana. To top this all off, he wears what is probably his best form of defense, his hat. More correctly, his helmet. At first it appears to be a massive round shield balanced on top of his head. A closer inspection reveals something far more. The hat is made out of pure protosteel, making it almost totally impervious to any attack. it's edges are razor sharp, making it a deadly throwing weapon. It is massive, with a diameter of almost three feet.

Powers: None.
Abilities: Moka is an exceptional athlete, and makes even the most agile Vortixx look like a bumbling hulk beside him. He is extremely agile and fast, as well as possessing quite good strength, and great stamina. He is an excellent shot with his crossbow, even though with it's abilities he could have easily used it as a spray and pray weapon. He is, on top of this, quite skilled in hand to hand fighting, especially with fists and twin swords.
Equipment: Moka wields what would for him be a nice, one handed axe, which he can use with either one or two hands. It is about three and a half to four feet long, and would be a two handed weapon for any toa. His primary weapon however, is his crossbow, a highly mechanized weapon, which he can wield with either one or two hands. The crossbow has two strings, and bolts are loaded onto each alternatively. After a shot, the string is wound back to it's former stance, ready for use by the time the next shot is fired, this way allowing Moka to keep up a constant rain of bolts. The bolts are stored in canisters of about thirty bolts, which are loaded automatically onto the crossbow from the canister's position. He carries several spare canisters on him, as well as having dozens more in his packs. To add to this, he carries what he calls 'heavy artillery'. Namely, small rockets that can be fired from his crossbow. Like his bolts, he carries a large store in backup, as well as three on him. The second however would not be accessible during a battle. He wears a massive, plate like hat, made of pure protosteel, and with straps for his arm in hand, so he can use it as a shield if need be.
His armor and clothing, and helmet have been described in the appearance, so I will not go into any more detail.
Transformation: Furnace Salamander.
Personality: Strong and silent are the right words to use. However, Moka has many more traits. He is extremely stubborn, he has a long memory, and has been known to hold grudges for hundreds of years. To add to this mix, he has a high sense of honor.
Bio: Another mercenary, Moka joined the tournament with Ataz.

Both approved, the only thing I am worried about is Moka's rockets, it seems just a tag overpowered for the Tunnel.

Well look at that, Zar, you showed up just in time, Mangai and Razgriz have two open member slots for team two, so you'll be playing with them.

How so? they're only about as long as a bolt, so they aren't that powerful. Besides, he only carries three on him.
