Where were you on the morning of September 11th 2001?

Do you remember? If so vividly or only a little?

----

As for me, I remember it very vividly, that's the only day in my life I remember that clearly.

I was 4 years old, and I was with my grandma. We were getting her car service and we were going to wait in a room with a TV, so we turned on the news, and all we saw was a story about has crashed into Tower 1, minutes later on live TV we saw another plane. And as you know it hit Tower 2. My grandma didn't want me to get upset so we went to a McDonald's down the street, the manager there which my grandma knew told her a plane had hit the Pentagon, just before we left there he came back up and said a plane had crashed in Shanksville, PA, supposedly heading toward the White House or Capitol.

At kindergarten, actually. My mom pulled me out early because we had family on the subway system to New York City (or so we thought at the time.)

Later turned out my uncle called in sick, so he wasn't at the Trade Center when the planes hit.

I forget what exact age I was -- probably five. My mom had determined to not go on the internet or check the news all day, as she thought she was spending too much time going on the computer and watching TV. Sometime in the morning my dad called from work, asking about talk he had heard around his office that the World Trade Center had been hit.

So my mom turned on the TV. I don't remember much about that day; I was, after all, rather young. I do remember watching with my mom as a plane crashed into the second tower. My mom says that, at one point, I said in a shocked kind of voice, "All those poor people..." but I can't recall anything about that day except it was scary. Scary, and very sad.

I have literally no recollection of the day, or where I was.

I probably didn't even know about it until years later.

Unfortunately, (and maybe for the best) I was too young to have any memory of the actual accident, but, I remember watching tapes and recordings in the news about it around 2002. By now, they've stopped recalling these moments in television here.

I have no memory of the incident, which is very disappointing, but yeah.

I don't remember the actual day at all, but I remember the news and the short documentaries that came a week or so after.

Off the top of my head, I have no idea where I was at. I was too young.
