First topic message reminder :
Okay, so we need scripts for our comics.
This makes it a lot easier for artists like me, to make them.
Here's and example of a comic script.
The exact dialog is not quite so important right now, but we need an idea of what they are talking about and what they will be doing from panel to panel.
Episode 1 Script by Lewa Krom
Episode 2 script by Legolover
Script Outlines
EPISODE 1
This episode was completed by LK already, I could't find the outlines for it but basically all the Toa wake up, visit their villages, hear the Legend of Mata Nui, gather and then split off to collect the masks.
EPISODE 2
Already completed by Legolover, this is pretty much what he did (I think).
EPISODE 3
This episode will most certainly need some filler scenes to make it longer and add some more action. I was thinking we'd include Onua fighting an Earth Elemental from the unreleased game.(We could make it a Vatuka instead)
We don't see much of Onua, and we could do a nice tribute to a game that was never released.
EPISODE 4
Nothing much to say about this one. It's where there the Toa find their unity (The message is working together).
EPISODE 5
Probably the most epic of the episodes. Not quite sure how the beginning battle is supposed to go. though
EPISODE 6
I thought that we should wait to have Takua visit Ta-Koro. This episode is the first time Takua meets Jaller and Vakama (after losing his memory).
This one, like episode 3, is heavily based on MNOLG, and will need some extra scenes. I had 2 different ideas for this.
We could just add in some scenes with the Toa collecting the last of their masks and also add the scenes with Takua forming the Chroniclers company.
We could have filler scenes with the Toa collecting their Makoki stones (never before seen, we'd get complete freedom with these scenes).
Or we could have flashbacks from Takua's quest for the Toa stones. These flashbacks would be very loosely based on the Quest for the Toa GBA game.
What do you guys think?
EPISODE 7
This episode would continue from the last episode. It will be about the toa decending into Makuta's lair while the Chroniclers company defend Kini-Nui from Rahi and will include the Battle for Kini-nui and the Manas battle.
One thing I thought I would change is that Takua does not pass out when he receives his visions, instead he gets glimpses while he's still conscious. Only for the last vision when he is knocked out in battle, does he completely black out. I did this so that I could show more of the Toa's scenes and I felt that Takua going unconscious all the time is a bit inconvenient when Rahi loom ahead.
Apart from that, I stayed pretty close to canon on this one, although i think a few things could be changed to improve the story, like the Manas fight could include more Manas to make the battle more epic or the way that the Toa receive their Golden Kanohi could be more like how they got them in MNOLG.
EPISODE 8
The final battle with Makuta, the toa will battle their shadow selves while Takua races to the Great Sundial in Onu-Koro so that he could witness the Toa's triumph.
