22/1/12- So I checked the MNI email again today, and so far no new auditions that we didn't know about(have we advertized in our main Bzp topic/blog yet?), but I thought I might as well make a topic where we all may vote on the voices for characters once we get enough people auditioning. Anyone in Ancient Chronicle may vote.

2/19/12 - I know the Auditions are being delayed; we need to get these topics done ASAP if we are going to get them out.

Yea, I've been checking the email, nothing new. I'm down as narrator and can aid if anything else needs to be filled since I'm familiar doing multiple roles. Worse comes to worse, everyone on this site does it.

Can we audition for more than one character? I'd like to audition for Angonce, the Element Lord of Sand and Metus. I should be able to record the lines tonight, when I'm back home (I'm at my grandparents' right now).

Also, will the Great Beings be portrayed as being younger or older? So Toa-like or Turaga-like? Should I experiment with both?

Audition for as many parts as you want. And the only Great Being who should really be portrayed as aged is the Elder(Raeir in TGC). And he's not older, just more stressed because he's the leader.

I wanted to update the audition lines with some for the Element Lords, because I don't think I've posted any.

im considering auditioning for some of the EL. once i find a mic and download audacity again lol. i'll just audition a few of their lines and you guys can just pick what EL if any i best fit Tongue

A'ight. If all go well, I can have the Auditions running for a Month. They will start on February 1st and end on exactly one month - March 1st.

I see some problems here, however. There are several places that have already been taken yet are somehow magically open now - I am pretty sure Legolover at least had one - I'll check my list and see if I can update it.

It's up to them mostly, as the Auditions have yet to start and we have yet to pick up a more formal system. (Though you still can sent your Auditions)

@Rigs: I think you are referring to the ELs. Remember, after Aderia left I changed their personalities(not to mention the gender of one), so they all opened.

@JamPot: If you are already a member on this forum, I don't think you have to bother emailing your auditions; just post them here. Wink

Anyway, I think he meant where he should host the file - the attachments on the forum are horrible. Emailing a file serves that purpose.

Don't worry, it's unlisted, so only people with the link can see it, and this is the only place I've posted the link. At all.

Oh, and watch in top quality. To me, it makes a difference. A big difference.

WAS awesome. It was one of the best auditions I have heard, in my opinion. It can't even consider which one would fit you; all characters are perfect for your voice.

I will let GT and MSFG decide here - and don't worry, posting as a video is fine. I guess emailing the Auditions as sound files is better.

Just did that too. And I'm glad you liked them so much - I wasn't too pleased, but I haven't really done anything like this for a while, except in ids5621's "Misadventures" series (which is awesome, look him up on YT nao). I have a little bit of professional radio experience, so I guess that helps.

That was brilliant! With emotion but not hammy when it wasn't needed. Loved your Angonce and 1st Sand Lord tryouts very much. But since Angonce is a very prominent character, I'll see if MSFG wants to wait for another for a bit to see.

I think you can feel pretty assured of both parts though!

Just one more question; for voicing that line, are we allowed only one attempt at the voice act? (i.e. Not doing two versions of the same character.) I'm just wondering because in some auditions this is the case. I just want to make sure. Smile
Actually, never mind. I just saw Lord Jampot's audition. I'm guessing we are allowed, but correct me if I'm wrong...

EDIT: Oh, and LJ; that was awesome. :3 I have to agree I liked the first Sand Lord voicing and first Metus. You did well with all of them. X3
