DUDES, WAKE UP!!!

Dudes, we all forgot a year (and two days ago) Mata Nui Inc was founded!


My internet chip inside my computer along with the CPU were fried when my inner fan failed at me. This meant I had to buy all the parts for a new PC, and fortunately I was able to retrieve my files.

I'm seriously disappointed that people banned tent like that. Sure he's annoying sometimes, but you can't just ban him for that.

You CAN ban people when they randomly curse, scream and post large images for fun, or inappropriate content. Because the site has become completely lost, and needs re-organizing, I'll have to write down the general forums rules, that apply to everyone.

On the work subjects, I'm going to be working on AC for now. This means releashing new topics and the site, along with planning the way we are going to be releashing the serials, where and when.

It's our anniversary! Yay!

...Except there isn't really that much to be excited about.

I mean, I left around half a year ago or something. But when I came back, not that much work had been done on the project. In fact, ever since I came back, I've just realized that bad things have happened. For some examples of real disappointments to me, let's look at a recent event and a widespread happening.

To add to what Mr. Riglax has stated, I am disappointed as well that you guys banned tent, but for the same as well as different reasons. One, it wasn't right to ban someone for not helping much (and I'm starting to feel it was less that and more that some of his actions annoyed you guys, in which case it was a seriously immature abuse of power). Two, it was stupid. Here a guy stands, knocking at your door, offering his services, and because they don't live up to your standards at first, and/or because you find some of what he has said and done annoying, you push him away. Tent isn't just a random person, he is a worker. And what do you guys do? Attempt to get rid of this new helper. Inexperienced though he is, tent is one of the few who actually VOLUNTEERED for this out of BZP's forty-five hundred. Evidently, some people here don't remember how bad it was back when we had almost no workers. Let's be glad he's here, no matter how annoying some of his actions are in your minds or how bland his writing is.

Again to add to what Rig has said, punishment needs to start happening pretty soon if people don't seriously start acting as though this is the 21st century and we are at least somewhat civilized people. The chatbox is starting to seriously feel like this is Assassin's Creed-you know, as in the part where 'Everything is permitted'. And this time, it's not a game. This site is not a place where one is encouraged to scream explicit stuff mindlessly whenever one loses their temper. It is, however, a place where one can congregate to work, and perhaps chat in the 'box about how to best work and maybe catch up with each other a bit.

Despite these disappointments, however, I still have faith in MNI and Plast's union producing good things here. I feel that as long as we learn from the mistakes we made in the first year, we can come back and get finished with some quality work, including cordial and universal teamWORK. I raise a glass now, in toast of a year filled with mistakes that have taught us what NOT to do, as well as preliminary and beginning work laying the foundation for our final products.

You HAD to wake me up? Sheesh, and this was the first decent sleep I got all week...

Realistically, when people don't know where to exactly work, or what it's happening, and what positions is there to fill in, that's my problem. Unfortunately, life has been getting in my way to just sit down and spend one whole day into forming lists, topics, and reorganizing the site, posting rules, and etc.

That's one of the things I must do soon enough, and... I'm going to right now.

Problem is though, it's not the people to blame only. Sure, it's none's fault that we haven't done much in one year, there's been much, much events that have delayed us. I can't though say that none of us played a role in these.

Tough, I finally see that things have become stable again, which means we need to move on. That's why I need from you guys to help, and what ever you have to do, do it, and I'll promise I'm going to be putting all the forum's problems in line from now on, and especially today, for I still have five Hours of my day to work only on MNI.


I'm happy to see things have taken a more 'stable' direction. But Mango is right. We can't just keep on like that, we need to regroup people.

It's time guys to stop fighting/rambling about how this is going to work, but rather do it correctly. Because the old year is gone. And with it, so dies all the previous stupidity we had. This year all changes.

GO FORTH PEOPLE!

I think we need some torture devices to get people moving. When the carrot doesn't work, it's time to bring in the stick.

Anyways, on the subject of work, I will continue writing TM as usual(IF RIGS WILL FREAKING APPROVE THE CHAPTERS LOL).

On the subject of tent, I was not present for the whole thing, so why is he now not a writer for LT? I know about the whole bogus ban thing, but not him being reassigned.

He's a musician.

Well, his writing needs improving. And I mean, serious improving, probably he needs to read books, and other stories; to get an idea how stories need description, and more dialogue.

Some key elements were missing, and that's basically most of the problem.

Anyways, Celu is busy with life ATM, so he's not on much. Other people are though.

Well, not all people have free time in summer, and I think Celu is doing some short of lessons (not sure). For example, I go only two weeks vacation. So yeah, I have free time.
