Across the ground they strove, armored feet tearing apart the ground, razor sharp blades slashing apart cloth and flesh.
Eyes gleamed with an almost demonic hatred, and animal grunts came from the warriors, their rationality was gone, replaced by a maddening killing urge. Blood poured from wounds, yet they ignored it, their minds bent on one thing. To kill.
They were fighting...
Dusk had fallen; it had been hours since they had began, yet they still continued, dodging around the fallen bodies of those unlucky enough to fall. Swords clashed upon sword in an endless clatter.
A errant slash bit into a hand, and blood poured freely. The weapon dropped, and the unarmed foe was hewed, and fell, his opponent hacking him mercilessly, bestial roars of triumph tearing through his mouth.

Well, as you can see, all the fighting in the past months finally got to me a bit too much; so i wrote this to blow off steam.
