Welcome to the Mata Nui Incorporated and Plast! Productions forums. We're two organizations composed of enthusiastic teenagers who want to entertain others. We all want to do stuff, whether it is making websites, creating publications, performing experimentations, and philosophize. Lately, we have had numerous updates on the status of Plast!'s and MNI's projects, including a restructuring of Mata Nui Inc and a meeting regarding the future of Plast! This meeting green-lighted a KanohiJournal Publications launch, consisting of posting all our content on the fan forum Bzpower, followed by the support of the staff. It was also decided that Ancient Chronicle must be completed by February, 2013. However, for such a goal to be met, several changes will have to be made.


Reboot

Ancient Chronicle has had one of the most disjointed, and malfunctioning development cycles I have ever seen in a collaboration project. Inactivity, constant problems with management and vague explanations of the project have all hindered progress, to the point were Ancient Chronicle has been running for almost two years.

So, let's take a look at all the coming changes:


  • A schedule (see below) is going to be everyone's holy book. Well, unless you don't actually work for Ancient Chronicle, in which case, why are you reading this? Anyway, all staff and workers will follow this schedule. NOTICE: This doesn't mean that the writing team will have to wait for the MOCing team to finish, well, MOCing some characters. Both teams can work at the same time.

  • Let's be honest here, does anyone have any idea where all this "media-joke-thingy" is going anymore? Nope. I'll just reboot it and give you the final explanation of what the heck we're doing: The writing team will be focused on completing the remaining two serials, but also writing the character bios and the locations decriptions. The MOCing and 3D Modeling teams will be focused on creating downloadable wallpapers, pictures and postures of the MOCs/3D Models to be used on the bios. Finally, voice actors and other related staff will work on recording Their Mistake, and preparing the four serials' PDF, Kindle, and Audiobook versions.

  • Also, for the sake of *insert obvious deity here*, we'll just say the "media" term is gone. There are six teams now: a writing team, a MOCing team, a conceptual art team, a 3D modeling team, a music team, and voice acting team.

  • This is the content we're gonna produce: four canon-fit stories, and their PDF, Kindle, and Audiobook adaptions, along with a small database expanding on all the characters (e.g. character profiles) and some basic locations. Like a tiny BS01, all on KanohiJournal Publications. And that is Ancient Chronicle for you.

We want to make sure all new coming workers have a clear view of what assignments they can start working on, and that's why we have created several topics to help coordinate Ancient Chronicle's progress. These will replace the old topics:




Schedule

This is self-explanatory, all people will follow this schedule from now and on. Some tasks might overlap each other (e.g. the writing team will not be concerned by MOCing assignments, meaning both teams can work at the same time). This will save up time and make sure we hit our deadline.
