Expanding Beyond Bionicle?

The leadership corp of Mata Nui Inc., Plast! Productions, and Brickcraft.me held a meeting some days ago about future projects and reorganization. Among the ideas tossed around was a suggestion that Mata Nui Inc. become more than just a Bionicle-based organization, but a LEGO-related organization, or perhaps even more.

We would be nowhere without our worker-base, so I have set up this poll on behalf of Mata Nui Inc.'s leadership to get your opinion. Yes, yours, Guest!

Anyway, I do think we should expand to cover other lines of Lego. I feel like we're too constricted at this point and that we really need to branch out in the future. But our problem is workers who don't work. (I know, I'm included in this bracket, but I'm working on a new song so it's not all bad) Perhaps if we prospected to add several new themes after we complete the current story serial, it would serve as a motivation point. (I mean, LotR, people? HF? Ninjago? Come ON!) And if people still don't want to be restricted to Lego we can always have extra story serials in the COT section. But the reason I feel like we should only expand to Lego themes is because we would lose focus in our original goals if we went past Lego. People would be too interested in, say, this Game of Thrones prospect you have brought up, and they might not give as much thought to the Lego serials. Because there are a lot more topics out there than the ones Lego has made into sets. All in all I think we should definitely expand the serials to cover some, if not all, of the Lego lines.

On the matter of the Game of Thrones wiki: NO. I am perfectly fine with the other wikis there are. In fact, I'm so fine with them, I'd pretty much take the info straight from them. Which wouldn't be really fair.

Considering that LL called me out, I suppose that I'm obligated to respond as well. I voted for expanding to other constraction lines, in case anyone is wondering.

And I've never even heard of A Game of Thrones, so I'm obviously not interested in making a wiki devoted to it.

Okay, I know this really an out-of-place respond, but since we put Lesovikk's Hiatus' and KanohiJournal's topics on Bzpower, I have a few things to say.

We're doing our best to get the remaining projects completed. However, these projects have lost the necessary interest we need to get them completed, unless we recruit new people. I'm working on sending a request to B6 to see if we can get a news shout-out; it's our best hope to get something going.

However, working on other lines is inevitable. We can't keep our sole focus on BIONICLE because there's no interest in that anymore. We'll be branching out a lot, hopefully; my plan is to get different projects for MNI. Each of them will cover different types of media. Some might be LEGO, some might be related to other stuff, and all of them will be under Mata Nui Inc. I'll be putting in motion both a BrickCraft.me panel MNI will be doing, and the Game of Thrones wiki. I and LL still need some level of support to get KJP going again. Please -- if you can help, do so.
