Remixes of Old Bionicle Music

Celu and I have decided to try 'remixing' old Bionicle themes. Before you can help, you need two things: The MIDI files from this helpful BZPower topic, and a music-writing program (a.k.a. 'sequencer') that can open and edit those MIDI files.

'Remixing' means you take the song, and 'tweak' it -- perhaps add an instrument here, change one there, take out one melody, add another... you get the picture.

So, here's what I have so far:

Mata Nui Theme/The End (MNOLG) Orchestral Remix
Ga-Wahi Theme (MNOLG 2) Orchestral Remix

I may edit those later on, so that they don't sound so similar to the original.

If any of you composers want to help, post in this topic saying which music from the MIDI files you want to remix. Also say what type of remix you're doing; at the moment, we would like only three types of remixes: Orchestral, rock, and electronic. Also, more MIDI files of old Bionicle music would be greatly appreciated.

They most likely won't be the whole MNI soundtrack, however. We'll have separate 'playlists' for the music of Their Mistake, any KJ podcasts, the Bionicle: Next Generation soundtracks, etc.

I still think I should try to change them a bit more, so they aren't just the old songs 'jazzed up' a bit. But, yeah, thanks.

Does this mean music produced in promotional themes, such as Move Along, Crashed, etc.?

No.
